Refworld containerized ice storages are insulated storages designed to store large amount of flake or plate ice, with an ice capacity ranging from 23tons to 200tons. The storage consists of inner and outer parts. The inner part is an ice storage room with an ice rake inside and an air cooler on the top while the outer part includes an ice deflector with a horizontal spiral conveyor below. Cooling air can still be circulated inside even when the storage is full of ice.
One or more flake ice machines can be mounted on the top of the storage supported by a separated construction. In ice making process, the internal rake mechanism constantly spreads the ice evenly throughout the storage, and freshly made ice will fall into the storage, later the automatic ice rake mechanism will push out the ice into the ice screw outlet mechanism when requested and consists of one or more spiral conveyors. At the same time, Refworld provides the integrated controls. Only need one person to touch screen panel for easy operation and observation of settings and measurements. Display which is mounted with camera and switch board can monitor the operation inside the storage.
